  My husband and i called at 10.40am and booked an appointment each here last week for 11.15am the same day. The receptionist told us it was in Hobart so we were confused when we could not find the address. We again called to double check that we were looking in the right place and were told again, HOBART. Turns out it is actually in Sandy Bay and we missed the appointments and now both apparently owe a $30 fee for not attending the appointment we booked only 35 minutes prior? How absolutely ridiculous. Absolute idiodic staff here. When booking, there were no mention of any fees whatsoever and due to the circumstances, they should never have even been sent out. We were on the phone to the receptionist when we missed out appointment and she was just rude and could not care less. Total money making scheme.

  Doctors that I've seen are thorough and listen to what you have to say. The receptionist didn't give me any issues.

  Apparently me not being able to breathe (mentioned on the phone when making the appointment) should have had you sending me straight to the hospital instead of the huge stuff around. I would go so far as to say that staff here are medically negligent.

  In the meantime, i almost died of aspiration pneumonia and was rushed to hospital.

  I quite like the doctor I have here, he's very generous with his time, he's knowledgable, and he's a genuinely nice guy, but I agree with all other reviewers: the receptionist(s) are the most miserable human beings you'll ever meet. Both disinterested and condescending, and very rude overall. The only reason I go back is because I like my doctor so much.
