Its in that kind of area, not the footy watching kind of area, hence maybe why the restaurant only had 3 tables occupied by the time we left at 8pm! Their footy cries kind of didn't match with the rest of the venue.

The Riverview Inn, Hobart has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere where you can spend an hour or a whole afternoon enjoying good company having a drink chatting to the locals! I highly recommend giving this pub a visit on your next trip to Tasmania!

Couldn't fault the food or the service but left thinking, wow they would be better off getting rid of the big screen TV where half a dozen old blokes where watching the footy and make it more upmarket. Some big couch areas to relax, read a magazine, have a coffee and meet up with friends while keeping half of it a restaurant.
