We had fish and chips which was great. The service was excellent and wait staff were young enthusiastic and extremely friendly.

If they are going to charge you excessively they can at least have great food and great service.

Seagrass caters for breakfast and lunch and the menu is not just seafood.

It's great to have this venue open during the day, as it used to be a restaurant for evenings only. The view is superb, total waterfront. There are plenty of tables. You order and pay at the counter from a long blackboard. The selection of food available is vast, so it takes a while to choose. I have been twice since Seagrass opened, once for coffee and once for lunch. I chose the Poke bowl with tofu, which was delicious and my friend chose an asian inspired salad with poached chicken, which she said was excellent. Great wine list, great food and friendly staff. I'm going back for my birthday lunch in a weeks time. I was told that it is a 'reservation free' establishment, unless you have a large group (20+) It's so nice to have a quality cafe/restaurant in this beautifully scenic area.

My lettuce still had dirt on it, and there was pretty much zero Caesar dressing on the salad. And the chips were under cooked.

The Restaurant decor has changed for the better and these photos are of the previous restaurant called Prossers.

With every new restaurant there are always a few teething problems so my suggestion would be go back again in a few weeks.

This place had so much potential with pretty decor and great location. The poor waitress was lovely and was run off her feet (even though her only job was to deliver food).

They didn't have menus, you had to seat yourself, get your own water for the table, go in and read the blackboard menu, go and order up at the counter. And then they charge a fortune for not very good food.
