    Very convenient to supermarket and restaurants. The room is big and well furnished.The receptionist was helpful. She phoned the travel agency and helped us to arrange the luggage to airport when we leave Hobart after the tour.

    A dive, don't go. Dirty, no 24 hr desk. Can't figure out why it is 4 star. We didn't even stay, left right away for another hotel.

    Clean and neat. Couches are not comfortable. There is no lift to upper levels, so request a ground floor room if you have a heavy suitcase or have trouble with stairs!

    If going to Launceston do not stay at the Auldington hotel, it is a filthy place, go to the Grand Chancelor.

    Stayed there with our parents/in laws, The rooms were clean, comfortable, service was good, Central to everything.
