  A bit expensive (better than Jane Franklin though ;)) but worth it considering the University is so close and everything but internet and food is covered in the rent. What you're really paying for is the College experience that made my first two years at Uni so enjoyable. The first 5 weeks gives you plenty of opportunities to be a part of the community living there before school work really picks up. You have to make an effort though, you can't expect people to like you straight away especially not if you don't get involved in the activities the College runs. I eventually plucked up the confidence half way through first year and didn't look back. You're encouraged to take part in any of a whole range of sports that gets you away from Homework for a bit and is one of the best ways to feel immediately part of the College community and to keep your sanity. There are plenty of non-drinking activities for those who want them (called Cultural Events) and even a Production for the theatrical. There is plenty of incentive to being active besides getting to know people in that the more you do the more points you'll get that go towards elevating you from fair but humble lodgings to a much more comfortable environment, the longer you stay at Christ the better your room will get (probably the greatest difference between St. John Fisher College and Christ). You will eventually get to know and in some way enjoy the company of everyone that's making an effort to make Christ College what it is, a place to remember fondly for the rest of your life. That goes double if you manage to win a Rugby Grand Final, YEAH SPORTS!!!

  Small rooms, horrible internet (expensive and unstable), kitchen too far away. Noisy computer room.

  The internet is extremely expensive, and ridiculously prone to going down (sometimes up to once a week!).

  The rooms are noisy as an AC/DC concert, but some do have a nice view.
